  Rick's CMS program
Posted by: MikeB - 06-15-2013, 01:49 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - No Replies

I downloaded it a couple weeks ago and haven't had time to go through it much. I just started customizing things with my company info and logos and It looks really nice!
I'll be putting it into action soon!
BTW...One thing I learned early in life is that if you want to excel at something, look around and see who already HAS and if you're lucky, that person won't mind you gloming on for some advice and guidance. No sense re inventing the wheel.
Having looked at many marketing programs for a few years now, I can say this one looks very well thought out and obviously effective or I don't think any of us would have heard of this Gelinas guy by now. Big Grin
And....the price isn't crazy like most of the others!

Information HOS Micro vs. Cyclo
Posted by: Blue Ridge Floor Care - 06-15-2013, 08:51 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (13)

Hey guys. Are these two machines the same except for the handle attachment on the Micro? If they are the same, why is the Micro twice the price? I'm looking to purchase one of these for upholstery cleaning. If the HOS is worth the extra money, fine. I just don't see the difference in the two.

  Generators for rental units
Posted by: Rob D - 06-15-2013, 01:49 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (4)

How many of you have to use generators for rental units?

I have not needed my generator for 4 months, now this week 3 jobs. I sold my 7000 watt last fall. It was just to big but now I have a 3750 watt and my crb starts real slow then it spins just fine. It should be plenty for that 700 watt motor but just don't like using generator. Do you notice slow start up with your machines?

I have an HOS Orbot that doesn't have a spray system that is attached. It's in great condition and I am just not using it anymore. $1500 is what I am asking.

Contact Phone is 317-460-1398.

Thanks,

Robb

Orbot and other equipment for sale
Posted by: kevinecoffey - 06-14-2013, 09:52 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - No Replies

I have several items for sale. I am located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Here is the list:

1. Orbot without spray borg (about 2 years old). It comes with the tile and grout brush. Minimal use...maybe 30 to 40 homes. Comes with the glides and a replacement velcro plate.

2. Challenger (used 3 times on my own home) It has the 3/4 HP motor.

3. Penguin 5 gallon battery powered sprayer

4. Durrmaid hot water upholstery and portable spotter. It's the green one that is improved.

5. PDQ postcards marketing kit. It cost around $300. I looked at the two disk set but could never afford to get the marketing plan going.

Make a reasonable offer. You can call me at 904-386-6806 or e-mail me at kevinec14@gmail.com

Possible new weight attachment for multiple machines??
Posted by: Derek - 06-13-2013, 01:37 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (8)

it's a little heavy but could be taken to a machine shop locally and they can cut a few inches off the length of it to lighten it. i like it's shape, easy to carry from the truck.

no idea which machines (besides Koblenz) that it would fit on...but a good option for some perhaps.

http://www.excellent-supply.com/Koblenz-...p_175.html

looks a heck of a lot better than ankle weights Tongue

wrap it in yellow or blue duck tape to prevent it from scratching up machine finishes.

good idea or what?

do i win a prize?

Cimex Brushes - is there a part called a "Distributor"?
Posted by: Derek - 06-13-2013, 11:53 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (4)

on TMF one fella said he has a Distributor which is to be used with the Cimex brushes. it dispenses the flow more evenly when using the brushes. is this true?

anyone use one?

how much are they?

Love my new cimex, but almost feel guilty
Posted by: leofry@1966 - 06-13-2013, 10:28 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (3)

I love the new cimex it took me about 3 jobs before i feel in love i was used to the 175 and had masted it, but now I am in the process of mastering the cimex... I almost feel guilty though for charging what used to take me 3 hours and making $300 and now getting done in hour and half to two hour and making $300,

I also still have a part of my mind that says this can't work, where does the dirt go...lol,

I also wondering if am walking to fast with the cimex... I either use the hold the trigger and walk and then let off the trigger about 5 feet from the end of the row and then turn around and dry pass it, OR i use the feathering the trigger and just doing a one pass... I am a quick person, I alk fast its my nature...
