  Excellent Supply BrushEncap CRB Pro
Posted by: Rob D - 05-30-2013, 10:46 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (26)

Wow! What a great value for an excellent CRB machine!! If you haven't been on the Excellent Supply website in awhile they are offering a new crb machine for an outstanding price..I thought maybe it was a misprint..I have been using my crb and excellent supply cleaners with great results. If you have thought about getting a crb now is the time. I would imagine that is an introductory price.

Thank you Rod from Excellent Supply

  Tile and Grout with cimex
Posted by: leofry@1966 - 05-29-2013, 01:52 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (5)

it seems the grout brush the handle with the brush on the end is the tool of choice when cleaning grout lines...

i am ok with but do any of you think the cimex scubbs the grout line as good or better...

I have a pretty big job and i am ok with hiring a extra hand pushing the grout brush but if the cimex can scubb better than i will buy the brush kit

and yes i am going to use the SX12 to clean i am just using the cimex to scubb

  Microban & Residential Carpet Cleaning
Posted by: TheCleaningDude - 05-28-2013, 03:38 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (5)

From time to time I'll clean a place that is a total stink fest.

Generally, whatever encap I am using will take care of it ok. Other times I need something stronger. A fellow cleaner recommended Fresh Wave IAQ (Jon Don). I'ts pretty good and will get rid of a lot of odor.

However, I am thinking that Microban is a product I should be carrying. From my understanding it's much stronger and longer lasting.

I know there are a few Microban products sold here. I'm assuming some are deodorizers while others actually kill bacteria, etc.?

Does Microban have any negative effect on encap? Is the odor overwhelming? Is it safe around pets, children, etc.?

Finally, do you apply it after encapping or does it need to extracted?

Thanks!

  New Product: BUCKET HEATERS
Posted by: encapman - 05-24-2013, 03:59 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (11)

We've added Bucket Heaters to our line up.

Bucket Heater's are handy to pre-heat water for carpet cleaning. We've used them for years in our cleaning business. Well I finally added them to our product line here at Excellent Supply.

With the Allied Bucket Heater, a 14-qt bucket of water will begin to simmer or gently boil in approximately 15 minutes. And although Releasit products work well in any temperature, there is an advantage whenever HOT water is available. Fill your Cimex, rotary, or portable extractor with simmering water for even better results. These heaters are also great for oily/greasy conditions.

  Pet vs no pet ?

Do you charge extra for cleaning a home with a cat or dog? How much extra and what do you consider when deciding on the right price? Thanks for your thoughts!

I'd like to say Thank You to Rick Lord for referring me to a large account. I met with the guy from Atlanta today at one of the properties in Houston and will be starting work on Tuesday evening cleaning once a month. Best part is I landed the account charging .18 a sf. Using my Cimex /Releasit combo. Thanks Rick.

How to get the job and be honest ( the perfect speech)
Posted by: leofry@1966 - 05-22-2013, 02:05 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (6)

weather its giving a job bid or talking to a residential client on the phone, I am trying to get the job but also want to be honest with them...example

I cleaned TILE at a police station last night that had never been cleaned and it was dirty, now i cleaned it up and it looked mmm 85% better but truth is it would be cleaned a two more times, so do you so which option is best

tell them this is a restoration cleaning and work on it for about 8 to 10 hours charge them $800 to $1000 (which by the way i don;t think they would bite on that )

or to tell them we need to get you on a maintenance program and be upfront with them telling them hey its not going to be perfect the first time but after about the 3rd cleaning you will see a huge difference...

Van Lettering ( wrap or not to wrap)
Posted by: leofry@1966 - 05-22-2013, 01:59 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (13)

question do you think simple is better ... nice letting
Name of business
clear indication on what your business does
Phone number
face book logo

or full wrap and lots of info

I am leaning toward simple I think you have to keep in mind that its not a contest to see who has the most awesome looking van, its to be a professionalism looking and make sure they know what you do and how to contact you
