So last week had a really big water job come my way and I could not handle it alone. It was an apartment complex that I work for and they had 2 water pipes break and a large amount of apartments flood I got they call arrived with all my water stuff fans dehus water claw truckmount ect. When I arrived it was way more than I could handle alone and the apartment manager came to me very nicely and said Andy we love ya but can you handle this or do we need call a larger company. I said no I cant handle it alone but I could call some help if thats ok she said yea no problem we would rather have you do it than someone we dont know. So I called two other companys that I am friends with to come help it was funny cause I didnt think anything of it as they call me when they are slammed or get big jobs also we have been helping each other out for long time this way. Later the manager came up to me and said how cool it was that I could be friends enough with my competition that I could call them to help with a job that the old company that was there before me would do nothing but bad talk other companys all the time. do you guys do this? I always have figured I cant clean all the carpet in the world might as well help and be friends with others.

Currently in the process of re-painting my Challenger Op and I am looking for a great adhesive for the bumper. Any thoughts?

Several calls today for flood work here in Illinois.

I have another appointment Tuesday with a large Property Management Co. They are looking for a "go to" carpet cleaner. This company has complexes totaling in the hundreds of apartments and they want one company doing them all.
I hope it goes as well as the last one but I have a feeling they are shopping for cheap rates.
I'm proposing a rate based on my past apartment rates, which were about 15% less than most competitors from what I'm told. One hour dry times, quick turn around, non toxic (most of my competitors are HWE so fast drying sets me apart)
My only other manager is happy with $85.00 each for 1 bedroom apartments (living room, 1 bed, small hall) Hopefully these folks will be too because as far as I'm concerned it's easy money. Empty rooms, no chatting and petting the dog, etc,...In and out, easy.

do you work alone, how many employees do you have ?

what i mean is how to get 10 Monthly accounts @ a average of $300 a month and 6 quarterly accounts at $500 sprinkle residential around the big 10, right now i have the big 2 + 3.


I see a lot of huge commercial buildings but how do you find out how is in charge they are huge and hard to get info on them...

We got in the Oreck Lowboy's today. These machines are gorgeous! Highly polished aluminum and chrome everywhere! And it comes with a Leeson Motor. This machine is quality all the way. Take a look at the little unboxing video that we threw together.

We will be introducing them with a velcro pad driver for $1200 (plus shipping). These machines weigh 83 pounds, so they'll need to be shipped via freight truck, just like our other full sized scrubbers.

I really think they're going to be phenomenal machines for the money!!!

I just wanted to make sure it was as easy as i thought, and it was.. i cleaned my own carpet which is Frieze and i know this is not the idea carpet to use the cimex on but it did well. i see no reason why you could not clean Frieze with it as a matter of fact i have steamed cleaned it before and i think the cimex did a better job, now that could be in my mind, but it does seem to look a little better with the cimex

I recently came into a bunch of carpet cleaning equipment & I am wondering where to begin in order to successfully start up in cleaning. I am not sure of models and types of machines/chemicals yet, I will find out.
