What pads for padcapping with Cimex? |

I am wanting to do some padcapping and would like to know what kind of pads people are using for the Cimex. I have been prespraying with a pump up sprayer using Encap-Punch and letting it sit for 15 minutes. I then apply the TuWay Thin One Carpet Bonnet dry but am wondering if I should be soaking the pads and wringing them out prior to application on the Cimex for added lubrication?. What kind of pads are people using? I was looking for 8" microfiber bonnets but it doesn't seem any one manufacturers them. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance

Hello boys and girls!! My name is Rob I have been the owner / operator of my own carpet cleaning business since 2001...I have been following this forum for awhile seems like great knowledge and fun..over the past few months I have been trying different products for encap and I am very impressed with the products that I have tried here at Excellent Supply.. I have been using a rotary with fiber plus pad and also bonnets.. I also have a Duplex machine only used a few times...I have always used a hwe system gas powered or electric truckmount and portable. From what I can see I plan on just keeping a portable for urine etc.. The commercial and residential customers that I have used the encap process with love the dry factor..I look forward to future business with Excellent Supply and it's staff...I can't believe how knowledgable the salespeople are on the phone, you can tell they take pride in what they do. So many other suppliers have people on the phone with little or no knowledge. So kudos!

Is how well the Cimex seems to do in dirty restaurants!
Some of the pics you guys post are amazing.
Curious, has anyone ever tried putting a bucket heater in the solution tank before cleaning?
Also, on average how many square feet are you covering per hour with the Cimex?

Hi everyone, my name is Kelly Mickley and I am Dave Rampage's daughter. I joined the board because I am working on marketing in our business so I am starting to learn what marketing is all about. My dad told me that this would be a good board for me to follow to see what other carpet cleaners are saying and doing. I am asking for any advice in getting started or even just throwing ideas/things you've personally done with your comany's marketing. Thanks!

I just realized you sent me a card after my accident. That was very thoughtful. Everybody was ok and we are rebuilding our truck. I'm glad I met Rick at the first Mike Fest in 2004 or 2005 and learned another method besides Hot Water Extraction. My Cimex and Orbot have been carrying my business since November.
If this accident happened before 2004 I would probably be out of business.

Putting a bid in on a weekly/bi-weekly restroom cleaning for a local restaurant chain.
Might have the potential to be some good money.
Anybody doing something like this now?
What equipment are you using?
Thanks!

What's the best machine to use to clean in between between church pews? I used a 15 inch rotary 175 buffer with the gray fiber pads, but it was difficult to maneuver. Will a small CRB, 15 inch OP, or maybe even the 15 inch Cimex do the trick? It would be great to have the machine spray or dispense solution. Thanks. Frank
