  Anyone use punch alone?
Posted by: CleanItGreen - 09-19-2015, 02:38 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (6)

I use either hydrox or bio-encap. If I need to prespray I use punch with the bio. Just curious if anyone encaps with punch alone and if so, what kind of results did you get?

  Punch as a Pre-spray
Posted by: MikeHabib - 09-18-2015, 10:43 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (3)

Ok I am going back to do a redo on a rental property that has two very bad traffic area''s. One in front of the sofa and the other from the kitchen to the back sliding glass door. With one gallon of Punch at 12 ounces , how much would you apply ?. Do you guy's use a bucket heater when using Punch as a pre -spray ?

  Show me what you got

I'm always interested to see how others set up their vans/trucks for VLM.

I'd like to see how others here have set theirs up.

To get the ball rolling, after my other van was smashed up & written off, I had to start from scratch again so made a few changes.

I'd also like to hear comments as to what I should also carry.

In the very rear of the van, sometimes I replace my Sprayborg with a small 2 vac, 100 psi porty for upholstery or very small carpet jobs.

If I need my CRB or 360i, there is still plenty of room in through the side door.

It may not be everyone's cuppa, but it does me for what I need to do each day.

Cheers,

Cool

  Spot removal with Wallpaper Steamer.
Posted by: Bernd - 09-16-2015, 09:19 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

I have read about spot removal with a wallpaper steamer. Seems to be very effective for red dye stains. I often have spots in residential i can not handle with my normal cleaning process and i am looking for a other way to treat these spots.

What other kind of spots or stains do you handle with the steamer or iron with a damp towel?

Was just looking through some photos on my phone. Here's a picture of our booth last week. The show was well supported and was a lot of fun!

  CleanFax Magazine's article on Encasulation
Posted by: MikeHabib - 09-11-2015, 11:16 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (11)

I just received this months CleanFax magazine and there is a interesting article on Encapsulation. They tested a few of the leading products on the market today however they will not tell you who they are.

One of them they showed they go on to say probably could never be vacuumed out once it dried because it almost looked like glue. They then had a former Shaw industries employee say that after several cleanings using only the Encapsulation method that the carpet looked dull.

I am curious if anyone else has had a chance to read this article and what your thoughts are ?

Today we did some low moisture cleaning demos in the MikeFest demo area at the Experience show. They had loaded old pieces of carpet with motor oil and potting soil. Here we are cleaning. The results speak for themselves. On the Vario2 we were running a Microbeast bonnet with Encap-Punch and Encap-Clean DS2
