Releasit Has a Fresh New Scent
Ever since the first jug of Releasit was produced back in 2003, we've used tea tree oil for the scent. Many of our customers liked the scent. However, some folks aren't all that crazy about the smell of tea tree. We've heard a few complaints about Releasit's scent through the years, so we felt it was time for the tea tree scent to be replaced.
We set out to find a good alternative for the Releasit line. As we sampled different fragrance options we wanted to find a fresh clean scent that wasn't over-powering. The light citrus scent we finally decided to go with smells incredible. It's like cutting open a ripe navel orange! You might even be tempted to taste it - but we don't really recommend that. ;-)
The new Citrus Fresh Scent is now in Encap-Clean DS2, Encap-HydrOx, Encap-Punch, Bio-Encap, and Encap-Basic. Tea tree oil will still remain in Encap-Spot and Encap-1.
The new scent smells great! As the carpet gets cleaned, a light citrusy scent fills the air. The feedback has been positive about the new scent!

I got a new commercial customer. A real estate company.
Next week i am cleaning three offices with 800 sq. fts. It is heavily soiled with traffic lanes and coffee spots. If the result is ok i have to clean the 7000 sq. fts.
My question: How long does it take to clean 7000 sq fts with my 175 ? I have a helper who vaccums and pre sprays. The offices are empty.
I want to use VCT pads and the SuperZorbs for the traffic lanes.

I am doing a commercial glue down carpet job in a funeral home. the carpet color is a maroon/ dark cranberry My question is should I use Hydrox or Punch and DS2
I have fiber plus pads and fiber plus max pads and also microfiber bonnets from excellent supply. which works better? prespray with Punch, scrub with fiber plus pad on my 175 then add DS2 to tank and scrub again followed by post capping with a micro fiber bonnet? or would you use hydrox prespray then scrub with fiber max pad with hydrox added to solution tank followed by padcapping. the stains appear to be traffic wear dirt and also spots probably spilled drinks Any advice will help. I have been using punch and DS2 scrubbing the Punch then continuing to use fiber pad with DS2 added to solution tank followed by a microfiber bonnet to get more dirt solution up. I have about 3 gallons of Hydrox left and was wondering if Hydrox would give me same results of the Punch/DS2 combo.
thank you
M

I just got another orbot with the sprayborg. Thanks Joe. Anyway, it doesn't have the weight kit and I hate to shell out all that money for the HOS weights. Has anyone used the koblenz weight on an orbot?

| Problems with heavy traffic lane... |

Yesterday i made a commercial job of 3500 sq. ft. It was only one hall and several offices.
The small offices had heavy traffic lanes and under the desks it was very dirty and even some pile distortion of the chairs.
I used DS2, my 175, microfiber bonnets and superzorbs.
I vaccumed first sprayed the DS2 with my 10 litre pump up sprayer and then startet with the microfiber bonnets. Should i better let dwell a bit?
On the traffic lanes and under the desks i needed a lot more passes and i used the superzorbs after the microfiber. Worked good but it took me very long to get the dark, dirty areas clean.
I used hot water. No dwell time.
How can i work and clean more effective?
Should i let dwell the solution? Should i use some pads first (have some white vct pads) and then the superzorbs?
It took me to long to clean the realy dirty areas and i would like to get some advice how to handle them more faster.

Starting Over |

I started cleaning carpet in January of last year, and due to family issues I unfortunately had to shut down operations and move out of state. I used to be a member here but I've since forgotten my username and password... well here I am, starting over in an entirely new market. Last time I just fell in to it, it was easy. I didn't have any competition and I was cleaning rent houses for large property managers in a military town so I had constant residual business. It was virtually all residential, and other than bringing brownies to a few real estate offices I never had to sell.
Here it's different. Highly competitive residential market (in the likes of Stanley Steemer and similar) and the rental market isn't as active. The commercial market is significantly bigger, but it's a new game for me. I'm not shooting for the moon here. I don't need 25 huge accounts, I just need to get the ball rolling. Make that first sale then the next.
So the question... In all of your collective experience, what types of commercial accounts are more likely to get me started? Jewelry stores? Banks? Churches? Office buildings? Medical Clinics? Something else?
I have the following, most purchased here:
-Oreck Orbiter
-Oreck Lowboy (mine says bissell)
-Bissell dual motor vacuum
-Excellent Supply 15" CRB
-Gecko Spotter
-CRM Software (no contacts so it's a clean slate )
I need to buy:
-Chemicals
-Pads
-Marketing materials (cards, truck decals etc.)
-Releasit CMS (worth the $130??)
Sorry for the absurdly long post, but with all of the information provided can anyone give me some pointers on how to get the ball rolling here? Any guidance is greatly appreciated!!!!!

I need some advice how to clean fruit and vegetable spots.
I have a new client with rabbits in their house (!) . They made some spots when eating on the carpet...incredible!
Should i use HydrOx to clean or the Encap Spot?
