  Experience Show in Vegas
Posted by: encapman - 09-10-2015, 12:25 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - No Replies

Nancy and I are at the Experience show in Vegas. Great turn out. The show is really busy. Lots of visitors to our booth. And Mikefest (across from our booth) is packed too. Getting to meet lots of our customers. It's great to see so many people that we've worked with for years. These events are fun for everyone to meet up and share ideas. For those of you out here - stop by and say hi; we're in booth 108.

  Newbie on deck!
Posted by: Encapsoloutionscc - 09-09-2015, 02:56 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

Encapsoloutions is officially on deck in the LM carpet care industry!

I'm Samuel, the owner and I'm proud to be representing the world of low moisture cleaning in the Seattle WA area

I grew up in the HWE industry with my father as a successful hwe business owner.
I now started my own business and went in the complete opposite direction of what i grew up knowing, and there is a reason for It.

I dont know about you guys but if some bozo came to my door with a pressure washer and a vacuum hose, I'd simply deny the service! Lol

Today I received my brand new Vario 2 along with pads and product from Rick and the team.  Very inpressed with the machine, and the onboard spray system.  Tested the whole shabang out on some trashed carpet runners and I'll say that it performed much better than I imagined!  The spray nozel was even fine tuned to the tee! Man, the thing sprays like a dreamSmile

Here is a quick rundown of what i have instore for my business and where I'm at in case others out there are looking to get a similar setup going

-royal metal upright vacuum
-Strong Crb
-Vario 2 OP
-Microglide 19" / Microbeasts / Tuways / fiber plus pads
-Pump sprayer/hand pump mini
-Bio-Encap Green
-Hot knife xtreme
-Rhino Shield
-Bucket heater

method will be
- inspection
- crb
- vacuum
- pre spray
- spot treat
- agitation
- extraction
- dry stage
- groom
- Post vac / inspection

-I have a 10 step process for residential always included
-Goal is commercial, residential is current priority
-3 package (good/better/best) pricing system
-Offer free spot treatment for my customer
-Dont have advertising yet or a website so everything will be word of mouth so door to door till i make some $$$
-Will be transporting via zipcar (with car door business magnets)
-Focused on selling results rather than method like Rick says
-Emphasizing Proper Waste management including composting all dry soils which is HUGE

Focused/excited/ready

Ps any tips will be much appreciated!

I'm at a place having work done and my RV and the area they bring the RV'S into the show room has some black marks. I assume where they turn the wheels and it leaves a black mark. Anyone one here had any experience doing a place like this? If so did it turn out
well from just Cimex and realisit or were additional spotters needed.

Thank you

  Time to grow my business
Posted by: MikeHabib - 09-01-2015, 11:41 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (6)

A little back ground on me. Back in the late 80's we use to only clean residential and we use to use the Circular Dry Foam method. The way we got our jobs was by telemarketing. Once caller ID came out it killed the business in a matter of a few years. I sold the business and moved to the VA Beach area. One day I was doing a loan for a property manager who convinced me to get back into the business part time which I did in 2006 or 2007.  I am curious as to what you guy's do to get business. We are going to do a Facebook page and a website next month but what I really want to do is get commercial accounts. Any suggestions would help.

How much solution do you spray on a carpet ?

I am curious as to how much solution you guy's spray on a carpet ? I use a pump sprayer and normally spray down enough for one pass. I am wondering if I need to use a little more.

  Sanitizing
Posted by: Encapsolutions - 08-26-2015, 08:19 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (4)

I'm new to the low moisture process from hwe, and im curious if there is an additional step that may be added to the process in order to achieve a sanitized carpet.

The hot water from the hwe method is generally what sanitizes carpets, and i know that this is the ONLY benefit of going hwe over lm.

Anyone have the solution?

Also i know oxy-dry has one method that does sanitize using ozone, but still curious if there is ny thing else
