  Micro Fibering?
Posted by: cleanerguy - 09-24-2014, 04:21 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (1)

What can you tell me about any success with the microbeast.
I have been using ds2 with the Cimex but I want to remove more soil, it is in a office with there shop right there.
When I rub a spot with a micro fiber towel there is one heck of a difference.
Thanks

  Who cleans tile?
Posted by: CleanItGreen - 09-24-2014, 12:51 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (7)

Yes, my friends its me, again. Been asked to clean a tile floor. I have my trusty cimex but don't have nylon brushes *yet.* so,

Who cleans tile?
What do you charge per sq ft?
What machine do you use and brushes or pads?
Best cleaner for tile and grout?

Thanks fellas!

Dry Foam vs other carpet cleaners
Posted by: IaCleaner - 09-23-2014, 07:14 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (25)

I am looking at the Taski Dry foam system and would like to know if anyone here has used it or what your opinion is of it? I am new to this so be honest with me. I have not done much carpet cleaning, I am adding it to my commercial cleaning business.

  Lighten Up..

Installed L.E.D. lights on my Orbot. Picked it up at Lowes. Perfect fit. Really lights up the floor. (2 settings) Plugs into the extra female plug down by the motor. Mounted it with stainless bolts and locking nuts.

  Dog Urine on Commercial Carpet
Posted by: Cyclone - 09-17-2014, 12:06 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (10)

I have been asked to clean a room in an assisted living facility that has dog urine on it.
The carpet is an olefin commercial carpet that is loosely stretched over a wood subfloor.
I have vlm cleaned rooms in this facility before and it buckles at the slightest hint of moisture. The room had a resident with a small female Yorkie dog that had more than a few accidents. The facility tried to clean it with their own upright extractor but failed to get rid of the odor. I suggested taking the carpet up but they don't want to do that.

The equipment and chems that I have available for this are Orbot, Cimex and Tempo spotting machine with TCU, Hydrox and odorcide. What would be your plan of attack?

  Resistance is Futile
Posted by: FloorCareMD - 09-17-2014, 10:30 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (13)

It is almost complete. One of my older 24" Cimex machines is becoming the "Ci-Borg", Part Cimex- Part SprayBorg.
It will have both the original gravity solution (left handle lever) AND dual spray tips through a 60 psi pump mounted under the tank (right handle lever, which is an extraction wand valve mounted into the handle).
