  Easiest sale ever!

I stopped in a local organic fertilizer place this morning to drop off the keys and pick up a check for the yearly cleaning I did yesterday. While I was there the owner said hey we would like to have you start doing this every three months. Can you do that?
I said yes sir I can. I said I can set you up on an email reminder with a week notice - would that work for you?
Yes that's great.
I wish they were all that simple. Lol

  Orbital machines
Posted by: Patrick - 09-02-2013, 10:59 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (14)

For the seasoned veterans that have used different orbital machines I would appreciate some input upon a few of them. Specifically the Challenger, Oreck SWK, and the Hos Orbot. I am just curious as to your opinions positive, negative, and everything in between. I am pulling the trigger on possibly the Orbot Sprayborg in a few weeks. The price is not the point I am looking for. I am looking for performance. I do know the Orbot is easy on the eyes and may impress custys. From the posts that I have read it has got rave reviews from alot of you. Challenger has been out of commission for awhile.
I've been reading the posts for about 4 months now and just put myself into the mix a few days ago. Starting my business in about 3 weeks. Going for residential and commercial.
I work a full time job and am going to do it on the side so I can be established when I retire.

About to do my first hardwood floor cleaning job...
Posted by: CleanItGreen - 09-02-2013, 08:19 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

48 hours until my first hardwood floor cleaning job. I will be doing cleaning only (no polish step). I have Basic Coating's Squeaky floor cleaner and cotton pads with a green stripe for my cymex. Haven't decided if I'm going to apply the cleaner by misting with a sprayer or with a microfiber mop. either way, I will follow application with buffing with the cymex.

anyone have any suggestions, feedback, or experiences to share?

  NOT CARPET CLEANING
Posted by: Shorty - 09-01-2013, 04:53 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (5)

Way back in March of '80, I spent a very pleasurable week-end at the south rim of the Grand Canyon during my 11 week trip around the 'states and Mexico.

Found an old card which was a memento of my visit there.

Last time I was there, about 1004, I couldn't find the joint.

Very fond memories of that trip, came back with over 4,000 slides.

  Is challenger still in business

I am looking for a light weight machine and had a Challenger in the past and I loved it. Sorry I ever sold it. Are they still around?

  Pricing encap cleaning recommendations.
Posted by: cleanclub77 - 08-30-2013, 02:36 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (3)

I'm in the process of stepping up my comm. carpet cleaning efforts using my cimex and encap cleaning chemicals. Would pricing at .15 per sq. ft. plus 10/15/20% profit be reasonable and competitive? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

  Cleaning CRB Brushes
Posted by: TheCleaningDude - 08-29-2013, 03:29 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (6)

Any tips?

I usually run it out in the driveway with a stream of water. Gets the brushes clean, but I doubt it's good for them.

What's the best and quickest way to clean the brushes without losing longevity?
