  What would you use?

I have a carpet cleaning job tomorrow and they also want one wood floor cleaned that they just pulled up the carpet from. Stapes and tack strips will be gone but has a sticky residue from pad.
Any suggestions one what product to use to remove residue? I will be padding it with challenger and cotton pads.

  Foreclosures
Posted by: drytouch - 08-15-2013, 05:37 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (10)

I'm going to spend a few days with a fellow who does the 'broom cleaning' for foreclosures and evictions.

Mainly, I'm interested in the contact part of the process.

Those of your who do lots of foreclosures, do you contact foreclosure departments at banks directly, do you go thru realtors, or what?

I want to do the initial cleaning, then get the floor work that inevitably has to be done as well.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Well guys, just wanna thank Rick G and the releasit line for helping me wow another commercial account. I used Punch this time instead if DS because it was already in the jug LoL!

Used the Orbot, sprayborg, and mf pads.

Here is a pic of the first floor hallway.

Commercial Contracts, Routes & Other Fun Stuff
Posted by: TheCleaningDude - 08-14-2013, 06:54 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (3)

Curious as to how many of you are actually getting bona fide commercial contracts?

I do a fair amount of commercial work, but want to really push it and grow it much further, however I can never seem to get anyone to commit to a contract even if they call regularly.

Also, has anyone here established a full time commercial route?

If so, I'd love to hear about it.

Thanks!

Question Do you Review your Business Process?
Posted by: AusCapper - 08-13-2013, 07:31 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - No Replies

Do you review your Business Processes from time to time?

Do you break your Business Processes into Sub-Processes, and break those Sub-Processes down into steps?

If not, why not?

I've learned that an effective way of improving your Business Processes, which ultimately results in better value delivery, is to break your processes right down into steps. Once you've done this you can regularly review each step, and improve each step. The out outcome is better efficiency, quality of work and improved value delivery for the customer, to name a few, the list goes on.

The added benefit with this method is that everyone in your business can participate in the step review process, which gets everyone on the "same page", helps to eliminate inconsistency, and promotes uniformity within your Business Processes.

Reviewing your Business Processes is really a quite simple exercise, and the benefits are endless.

If it's not something you do in your business, try it- You may be surprised what you discover!

  Pet Urine Stains & Encap

How do you encap speciallists out there deal with pet urine stains and odors? Can encap deal with this on its own or is a water claw still preferred/needed?

  Releasit DS on Wool
Posted by: AusCapper - 08-12-2013, 09:46 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (7)

G'day

Just received my very first bottle of Releasit DS, notice it says on the label suitable for all synthetics & MOST Wools.

Any suggestions on which wools it would NOT be suitable for?

Much appreciated Wink
