  What a difference Releasit makes
Posted by: Act One Cleaning - 06-05-2015, 02:03 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (1)

We offer HWE and encap for carpet cleaning now and WOW!

For residential jobs, encap is a new way of thinking and an "educational" sales process.  But here is the nice thing; even if the customer isn't totally comfortable with encapping, we can still run the HWE over the scrubbed carpet at a pretty fast clip.  Why?  Because if any residue is left, we know it will crystallize and be vacuumed out later.   It is sort of like bonneting the surface, to get the appearance up.  Using regular carpet shampoos, we'd have to slow way down and flush deeply.  That takes a lot more time.

The customer is happy, we feel like they get a great cleaning service and the power and security Releasit brings gives us peace of mind.

  Newbie - need help

Hi all.  I was so delighted to find this forum!  I found it through reading a thread due to a Google search on encapsulation.

I'm a superintendent of a four-year-old luxury condominium building for the past six months and a part-time cleaner, but I didn't know about encapsulation until today.  Blush  I've only recently started researching VLM methods because the carpets in my building are a mess.  Up until now, they have been using HWE -- wicking and streaking abound.

It appears that no one around this area is doing encapsulation and all cleaning supply companies focus solely on extraction.

Long story short, the berber on our five floors is a mess (I'm very picky).  There is no padding.  It is simply glued to the cement floor.

Any attempt I make at extraction only makes it worse.

I have access to a Taski floor machine and wonder if there is a way that I can use it, together with proper pads and chemistry, to clean up this mess.  I have a low budget.

My last and final attempts today at extraction have me completely exhausted and disheartened.  I'd be over the moon for any and all suggestions.

Slainte,
Wanda

I need to replace my old commercial Electrolux upright. I am not crazy about the newer Electrolux vacuums. What vacuum cleaner do you guys use/recommend? Thanks.

VARIO 2 [with Onboard Spray System]
Posted by: encapman - 05-29-2015, 05:54 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (6)

The VARIO 2 is now in the house, and I think we have done something special with it. We showed the prototype at The Experience Show last month on Clearwater Beach.

The new machine comes with an onboard spray system, including a 4 gallon tank and 120 psi pump and wide pattern spray jet. It also comes with a removable 10 pound deck weight set to add some extra grip to the scrubbing when it's needed.

She's a beauty! and priced right too!!!

How to clean this kind of commercial carpet?
Posted by: Bernd - 05-29-2015, 07:15 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (6)

Does anyone know this kind of commercial carpet?

http://www.archiexpo.de/prod/armstrong-d...32994.html

I don´t know the english word of it. Needle punch or needle felt Huh

I went to the customer this morning. The carpet has many spots.

Should i use the CRB or the 175 with Pads for scrubbing?

  How much is enough?

I currently run my Orbot with an extra 10 pounds in weight on the deck.
It seems to produce better results with the extra weight.
How much is enough?  How much is too much?
What do you do?

  Stinky old dog
Posted by: Act One Cleaning - 05-27-2015, 04:38 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (5)

So... Yesterday I scrubbed residential carpet (short shag) that smelled like doggie BO. I used HydrOx and a CRB. Place smelled great, but today the customer called to say two rooms still have dog odor. Of course I want to fix it, but what is my next move?

  Residential- Velvet Carpet
Posted by: Bernd - 05-26-2015, 03:03 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

As you have read in other threads i start using my new 175. I have a carpet brush, some white VCT floor pads, some bonnets with the green stripes and a few Thin One Bonnets from Tuway and a CRB.

Which steps do you recommend when using the 175 and which bonnets or pads should i use in residential? Here in Germany many customers have velvet carpet. What should i use on it? The brush? The green striped bonnets or the Thin One Tuways?

I have read many other threads but could not find anythink about velvet carpet....

I am thankful for all advice.

  Thanks for all advice!!!

I only want to say " Thank you" for all the great advice!

I just started using the Releasit products here in Germany and don´t know if anybody else is using them here. They are working great.

Normaly i am using a Pre- spray and compound...now i am using more and more the encapsulation products of Releasit. I am still learning how to handle them...

Last time i used them for my commercial job. A great company with more than 200 shops all around Germany. I used Punch as a Pre-Spray and DS2 for Encapsulation with my CRB.

A few days later i got a email..." Thanks a lot! We got a new carpet!" Smile

It took me half of the time instead of using the compound- so te double income for the hours Smile

So...i will still using these Products allthough i have to buy them from a suplier in Great Britain Smile.
